Learn the basics of Polyvagal Theory and how it might apply to your dog and to their overall mental and physical well-being. In this interactive lecture, we will discuss cues of safety and cues of danger that come from inside and outside the body. We will cover the basics of biologically appropriate food, exercise, enrichment, deep rest, and emotional connection.
It's fun to train your dog to do advanced behaviors, and it is necessary to help change a dog's behavior if they are reactive and stressed. No matter what you are working on with your dog, let's start with the foundations of good health! Your training and rehab programs will see faster and more effective outcomes if we understand the way your dog's body, mind, and nervous system process the world around them.
If you miss the Zoom meeting it's not a problem, you will have lifetime access to the recording and slides. I will also answer questions by email for up to one week (seven calendar days) after the presentation.
