Are you feeling overwhelmed by your dog’s behavior?
Many behavior challenges are rooted not in “disobedience,” but in an overactivated nervous system. When a dog is carrying excess sympathetic energy, that stress often shows up as chewing, barking, leash reactivity, fence fighting, getting into the trash, and other unwanted behaviors.
Through a series of thoughtfully designed physical exercises, we help your dog bring that excess energy back to ground. As the nervous system settles, the need to discharge stress through behavior naturally decreases. Rather than suppressing symptoms, this work supports your dog’s innate capacity to regulate, connect, and feel safe.
These same exercises are also used to gently shape obedience behaviors, drawing on your dog’s natural play and prey drive. Everything we practice is intended to build confidence, expand emotional capacity, and support resilience. As your dog becomes more regulated, you’ll likely notice that you, too, become more attuned—creating a deeper bond and a foundation of trust that flows both ways.
Our Coaching Approach
We work with clients using a coaching model designed to support learning, integration, and flexibility. After each session, you’ll receive a detailed written follow-up via email outlining the exercises, techniques, and observations from your lesson. You’ll also receive personalized “homework” that you can practice at your own pace—whether that’s for a few days or several weeks before scheduling your next session.
There is no rigid timeline. You and your dog move forward together in a way that feels sustainable and supportive. Between sessions, ongoing support is available via text, email, or phone so we can troubleshoot, refine, and adjust as needed. Two exchanges per week are included in the package. More frequent exchanges may be purchased for an additional fee.
What Your Private Sessions Include
Every private training session includes far more than the time we spend together in your home. My goal is to provide comprehensive support so you always know exactly what to do between sessions.
Your investment includes:
• Time spent reviewing your intake forms and preparing specifically for your dog before we meet.
• A 90-120 minute in-home coaching session where we work together with your dog in real-life situations.
• Travel time to and from your home.
• Individualized coaching tailored to your dog's behavior, nervous system, and your family's goals.
• A detailed written training plan outlining everything we covered, along with step-by-step exercises and recommendations.
• Follow-up support after your session to answer questions and help you stay on track.
• Continued professional education and over two decades of experience studying behavior, nervous system regulation, nutrition, physiology, and holistic canine wellness so you receive guidance that goes beyond basic obedience training.
