Dogs experience stress just like people do, and they need healthy ways to move through and resolve that stress. Some dogs are naturally able to channel their energy in constructive ways and tend to remain emotionally balanced. Others need more guidance and support to stay regulated, connected, and at ease in their relationship with you.
We begin our work with a Behavioral Assessment. This session includes a thorough, honest conversation about your goals, expectations, and what you’ve already tried. I’ll observe your dog’s behavior in their home environment and provide a detailed assessment of their temperament, stress patterns, and behavioral challenges. You’ll receive clear observations and thoughtful recommendations to help guide next steps.
Session Details
Behavioral assessments take place in your home, where your dog feels most familiar and where behavior can be observed in real context.
What Your Private Session Includes
Every private training session includes far more than the time we spend together in your home. My goal is to provide comprehensive support so you always know exactly what to do between sessions.
Your investment includes:
• Time spent reviewing your intake forms and preparing specifically for your dog before we meet.
• A 90-120 minute in-home coaching session where we work together with your dog in real-life situations.
• Travel time to and from your home.
• Individualized coaching tailored to your dog's behavior, nervous system, and your family's goals.
• A detailed written training plan outlining everything we covered, along with step-by-step exercises and recommendations.
• Follow-up support after your session to answer questions and help you stay on track.
• Continued professional education and over two decades of experience studying behavior, nervous system regulation, nutrition, physiology, and holistic canine wellness so you receive guidance that goes beyond basic obedience training.
For clients outside of the Chattanooga area, a travel surcharge applies for in-home consultations.
