We are now offering a puppy class every other Sunday from 12:00-1:00 pm. These classes are open to puppies up to 6 months, as well as small dogs who might feel more comfortable surrounded by other "littles." This class will teach you how to give your puppy a head start by building a relationship based on trust and emotional rapport. We will give you all the tools you need to ensure a strong bond with your dog that will help him or her grow into a healthy, social, and loyal companion.
The first class will take place on September 16th, at 10 Nelsen Road in Scarborough, Maine. Classes are $25 each and should either be pre-paid by purchasing here on our website, or you can RSVP to Leah by calling or texting 207-939-6210 and plan to pay with cash or check.
Things to consider: please have your dog on a no-slip martingale collar or slip lead. It's also useful if they have a back-clip harness. You should BYO bait bag with your dog's favorite food and treats (and make sure he's hungry, no breakfast!). You can also bring his favorite toy for a game of tug! Of course, your dog must be leashed as we will be working around other dogs, so please have a four or six-foot lead.
This class is weather dependent since it is held outdoors. If Sunday is rainy, we will often push the class to the next Saturday. If you are unsure about the weather, please text Leah to find out if class is in session: 207-939-6210. If you paid for a class and it was cancelled due to weather, you will have a credit for the next available class (or something that works for your schedule).
