Canine Connection Workshop

All dogs can be part of a successful and social team if you tap into their primal desire to: Hunt and Connect. Using their prey drive, you will create a lasting bond with your dog that not only heals old wounds, but creates new channels for social behavior. From this foundation we “teach” the dog obedience. However, obedience doesn’t come from following commands, it comes from the dog feeling in sync with his handler.

Join us for this interactive, holistic dog training seminar hosted by Canine Movement Lab and Dog In Neutral. We have created this weekend workshop to get down to the core connection between you and your dog.

We will be teaching you how to use your dog's natural prey drive and hunting instincts to help them be their best dog self in a highly domesticated world. Learning how to work with their innate wild nature is the key to training. We will be giving in-depth lectures on the Canine Core Method and theory, as well as conducting interactive sessions to see it in action.

This workshop is open to all dogs, but it will be especially helpful for anyone with a reactive dog who would like help understanding what's going on inside the mind of their dog when he gets "activated." With lots of support from your workshop leaders, this is a great opportunity to work your dog around other dogs (and people!) in a safe and controlled setting, helping to start the healing process.

We will have plenty of time to work each dog individually throughout the weekend, as well as break-out sessions held in small groups. In this way, we will address the specific needs of each dog and handler team.

We do have scholarships available for the workshop, if you or someone you know might be interested in attending but needs financial assistance, please have them email: leah@caninemovementlab.com.
